On the other hand, I hear that after-markets can fail in as little as 5k miles, but certainly won't last much longer than 50k. If you get a used axle, make sure you know its history. That car was in a rear ender, but the front end wasn't impacted. But on something that important, I wouldnt buy a used axle. I looked at advanced auto and found their carquest brand was only $80.
